I've been a big admirer from :iconelf-fin: for a while now, not only because of his awesome (mermaid) art, but also because he can animate awesomely! Anyway, he told me that if I wanted to try animation, I could try an art programme with layers.

I picked Adobe Photoshop CS2 with Image Ready. I tried it, I did it, I am satisfied... and I found out animation does not hold my heart. I can do it and that was what I mostly wanted to try.

But hey, we can't all be animators/want to be animators. ^_^

It's actually not that hard to do with photoshop; the hardest thing is to figure out what to draw next so things go smoothly XD

Wow, thanks for the credit reference as your 'animation pusher'... ;-)

I'm glad to see you tried it out. I think that you did a fantastic job for your first try, there is talent here I can see that you should pursue more... I'd encourage it. It is harder then it looks though, I know, it's working in a 3D space on a 2D surface... it can be confronting to your art skills.

Keep your dream alive and continue to create your magic... the magic of animation is not Disneys' alone.

:blushes: Thank you! I know that 'true' animation is a lot trickier; I did a very simple one. There is so much you have to keep in mind: the mouth, the eyes, the pose... for example, speaking while walking is very tricky.
Who knows, maybe I will try it again one day ^_^ This was only 8 frames.
