A strange title, perhaps, but it does fit. This image/scene takes place before Kimu gets caught up in the Konoai-Mateo-chaos.

Though her father died at a young age due to disease, Kimu grew up to be a happy child. She studies marine biology and works at a Dutch sea aquarium (I gave myself some artistic liberties - I mean- penguins and dolphins in 1 pool?!). Her powers are still minor; she can only sense the 'electricity' in an animal's brain (thus knowing how it feels) and manipulate the flow of electricity in a power grid.

Not long after this scene, Kimu was kidnapped so she could lure Konoai, who on her turn would lure Mateo - the one that group was after. Kimu had to hide in America, but eventually returned when her mother got cancer.
Her mother didn't want to get magically healed and lost the battle, leaving Kimu behind.
No job, no family... Kimu had lost everything she loved and asked Konoai to take her away from all her sorrow. Konoai brought her to Seken, where Kimu's magic grew... and she met up with Mateo again... who she blaims for all her misfortune.

And thus Project KiMa starts...

But this is still SciFi :)

Kimu has short hair, and the dolphin is based upon a random image I found online :) The penguins are based upon Humboldts; very cute penguins!

I'm sure plenty of places have dolphins and penguins together. The dolphin looks like of like an orca, so I thought of Sea World. But yeah two cute animals = winning image.

Thanks!! I used to draw a lot of dolphins as a kid, but then I switched to orca's... and this one seems to be a mix XD (and a real one as well; tried to copy the pattern from a photo XP)
