Chapter 2: Pacificator in action!
27th of December, year XXXX
City of Utrecht, Netherlands
Glenn looked at the snow that got crushed under her heavy boots. They were tall and till her knees, but had a flat sole made out of thick rubber. As a Pacificator of Lightning, it was easy to fry herself, so in order to prevent such an act, she wore shoes with thick rubber soles. Even if she stepped in a puddle of water, the rubber would give her some sort of protection. People always wondered when she would go crazy and thus treated her as such. As a result, Glenn never had any friends on the Academy and became the most anti-social Pacificator anyone knew.
Nobody wanted her in her team and none of the commanders could have an interview with her that didn't result in a screaming-fest. She obeyed all rules, even followed all orders but she never did it without talking back to the one giving the order.
"Are you certain you don't want some?" A large ice cream was shoved underneat

"Mommy, mommy! Look! I can make grandma's old lamp glow!"
"Put that down, that's a valuable heirloom."
"But mommy, it glows!"
"Don't make up such tall tales. This lamp hasn't worked since the Second Dark Age started. Now, be a nice girl and go play in your room. Making this lamp glow, the imagination this child has!"
Chapter 1: A ninja for Christmas

Pacificators Headquarters, Dutch Division.
"It seems the Revelin-family won't give up." The woman sighed, lifting up a piece of paper.
"Another request?" A man replied. "Do they honestly think we have time to babysit? There are more urgent matters!"
An older man spoke up. "I tend to disagree. The Revelin-family has played an important part in ending the Second Dark Age."
"It's not over yet." The woman said back, placing the paper down uninterested.
"But without them, it would have been worse." The older man smiled.
"That family thinks they can get whatever they want with their money
