FY Reference - Grasshopperby *kittyocean

Traditional Art / Drawings / Fantasy

Grasshopper is a character that was created for the very first version of Forever Young and is the only character that migrated to the last version... with her looks and personality intact! Just compare her with this image and see how much she changed: [link]

Anyway:

Outfit 1: She hasn't learned how to pose yet, so that's why she looks unnatural. The clothes aren't 'her' yet either. I wanted to give her true yellow eyes, but that would have looked creepy XD Grasshopper never learned how to talk - for the full story... well... as soon as Book 4 is publiced...

Outfit 2: Learning how to pose, to smile and the outfit is better as well. Oh, and about her 'favourite clothing: none'; that has to be seen in the most literal sense you can think of. But trust me: her friends do NOT agree with her XD

Outfit 3: The very first outfit and the one that still fits her best ^_^. It was tricky getting the same pose and clothes as in the old image... the proportions were totally off back then XP

Outfit 4: Made up by accident... but the best new outfit I made up for her! I love the outfit and the pose is so energetic! I finally got the hang of drawing Grasshopper... and the reference was already done...

Outf-.... ehm... not an outfit. But I'm very proud of it!! I know a lot must be off, but heck: first wolf ever! (that looks like a wolf... kinda). This is Grasshopper very first form... well, no, wait... that was a wolf-cub... but you get what I mean!! (I hope)

I'm just very proud of this reference, worthy to be Deviation 999! Keep an eye on the poll to know what will be number 1000!

I immediatly recognized that third pose

. I have a grat memory

. I really like pose and outfit 4. The wolf looks very good for a first time. Maybe you should try to make the head a little smaller next time.
