I finally did it! The only guy I was not satisfied with his looks yet. Not that he's perfect, but at I'm still pleased with the result. In my eyes, he still looks like a mix between Blade and Matsuru, but at least not as loser-y as the first designs and efforts.

Rain... he's an awesome character. He looks all passive, but at the end of book 3 he finally finds his offensive powers. Well, he already had some offensive tricks, but he finds out he can kick some mega-**** too! Gets him into trouble in book 5, btw. Very big trouble.

Outfit 1: It looks good on him, but it's not suitable for the story. It's too modern. But designing for him became easier when I kept on drawing him, not to mention colouring.

Outfit 2: Grey suits him, but not as a main colour. Random fact: Rain is usually the victim of gay-jokes. People often pair him with Kai, their mothers included. Rain and Kai are both straight, but they are a great team and best friends... and they would look so cute as a couple! But, alas, as the writer, I'm not allowed to be part of the Rain x Kai-fanclub, because that could let people think they secretly are gay. But I said it before and will say it again: Rain and Kai are NOT gay.... but they look so... I'll be silent now.

Outfit 3: Brown suits him more; especially brown combined with teal and blue. Oh, and Rain loves hoodies. And vests. Rain is quite prudish. He doesn't really like to have bare arms or legs and prefers to avoid it. He feels uncomfortable if he wears something more 'short'. He doesn't mind going into a bathhouse as long as there are only boys, but if there are girls involved, he insists on wearing shorts and most likely also a tank top. This sometimes causes people and especially Kai to tease him more.

Outfit 4: Did I already mention Rain loves hoodies and vests? XP Not much to say, but I like outfits number 3 till 7 (6 excluded). Rain is an awesome painter and is in charge of creating portraits of all the tribe members. This is important, since photography is out of the question. Rain is also a Magic Teacher, especially Naraku, Yume and Suta's. However, his only good student is Suta...

Outfit 5: Not the best, but okay. Rain's parents were stolen away from him when he was 12, just before his powers started to show. He always blames himself for that event. 'If only I had my powers...'. He also blames himself that when he realised he could stand a chance for revenge, he didn't go after the one responsible. His parents, however, are glad he never went after the one who stole his parents, because that would mean he could have been consumed by revenge and wouldn't grow into this nice young man. But he still blames himself.

Outfit 6: I wanted to make one that matched Kai's, but a bit more different. He actually looks bad-ass! Rain is also a Tanner, but not one as good as Sushi. He also gets teased about that, especially by Blade, who is a chauvenist and thinks sewing is a woman's job. His skills occassionally come in handy, especially when Sushi's overloaded with work or, well... is not there.

Outfit 7: A bit more modern, but decent. In the future, Rayne will marry Illiana (or was it with 1 L?), a colour-blind Ice User. They will get one daughter: Yelle, a Water User with insane long hair. Really insane long hair. Yelle will also practise to become a Tanner, learning from Sushi's apprentice: Iri. And no worries, daughter will be better than daddy!
