Don't let it's sketchyness fool you! This image took me quite some while! Longer than the rushy CGing So, it's traditional mostly! And too good for a sketch in my eyes!

I asked to design Lyan, the character of Forever Young Sci-Fi that was based on her. Acrocat feared she had maybe gone a bit overboard...honey, NOT OVERBOARD ENOUGH!

I do hope I get the colors right. I have NO IDEA what Mahogany for a kind of brown is =S But I actually like this in the contrast with the white and the blue I changed the hair a bit because it reminded me too much of Kitty Ocean. Still does a bit XD But that's because all the faces I draw are the same XD

About Lyan...

Lyan is still a kid. I don't know the age yet; around 17 I guess. She's a Water User from Seken, and just joined the Icehunters as a tribe. Konoai forbid her to go to Earth any more. Not until she knows more about Earth and it's language!

Lyan comes from a rich family. You know, big mansion/ villa, happy parents child scene... until her father died of an illness. Tragic. But then her father's sister moved in and started dominating the house! Lyan's aunt thought Lyan was so savage and needed taming. Her mother saw what was coming and yes, the aunt forced both Lyan and Lyan's mother into marriage. Probably so she could dominate the house and the family riches even more.
Lyan's mother helped Lyan to escape, and send her away. Lyan assumes her mother is now remarried, but against her will. So, Lyan is set on freeing her mother!

Lyan also has a small.... tick XD. She adores knives and is quite violent. All she needs to solve, is solved with violence. Oh, and that adoration for knives is not THAT weird. I have it myself! If it was legal, I would buy all sorts of pretty knives and swords! And if I had won a million. Back to the story.

Lyan seems to know only one way: the way of cold steel. Why she thinks this, is unknown. Maybe because she was the only girl in her childhood and only played with boys. Who knows. That has yet to be determined.

So, Lyan went along on a trip to Earth; very happy deppy. And then... well. Short version: Police, Illegal Weapon Use, Violence, Theft of Merchandise (knives and swords). Konoai had to fix a lot! And that because Lyan did know nothing about Earth, it's customs and language. So yeah, Lyan isn't allowed on Earth for a while XD.

What more? Well, Lyan only listens to Sherry. She's a pain to the tribe, but also an adorable child once in a while. Who just solves every problem with violence *sighs* And is set on rescueing her mother from the clutches of her diabolic aunt. Oh yes, and is a Water User, who is known to trick her tribemembers.

Yeah, she's a pain XD But we love her! She's OUR pain!
