In Serenay Moon episode 11 ([link]), Kitt confessed about her water powers. She said she had a mother, a father and even a twin sister. Her mother gave her life, but her soul was born in the ocean.
Zach: "So you feel a close connection to water?"
Kitt: "No Zach, I AM the water..."

...maybe its just me but this ALSO reminds me of the little mermaid! That part where she comes out of the water to meet prince derak with her new real pair of legs... :teevee: ah... great movie...
