Watercolour Tamaby *kittyocean

Traditional Art / Drawings / Fantasy

I rarely use watercolour paint. But,

came over for a visit and she inspired me. And guess what she concluded?

"You use your brush as if it's a pencil."

No wonder I suck at painting!!

Anyway, this piece took a LOOOONG while and I'm pretty proud of it. Especially the hair. I wondered if I should get rid of the errors, but decided to keep them. Why hiding my errors?

Tama is one of the Chieftesses in Forever Young Legacy. She wears a dress which is almost the same colour of her hair, because she does not like to stand out. She also loves to play a violin-like instrument.
I haven't made that much up about Tama yet. But, that will come ^_^

Oh yeah and I FINALLY managed to draw her XD

I like your choice of colors. What paper you used? Watercolor? And did you outline it before or after you did the watercolor? The lines look so smooth.

Actually, I did both XD Lined it, coloured it and lined it again XP
Oh, and I used basic normal plain printer paper XP. Couldn't find my aquarellic paper XD

Dang! The colors looked so smooth and bright. Usually, it would look muddy on printing paper, but it looks good.
