JA made a sequel!
The Result of the contest!
The competition was grand and the one who was overall winner (which wasn't me) is one who deserved it big time. The winner made a picture that simply broke my heart: [link]
HOWEVER....
Best Pictures:
-1st Place. KittyOcean: ([link]) A. You dropped something.
-Snow, full backgrounds, characters having fun had given her a 1st place award for best picture.
Me ish heppie!!

When JA told about his contest, I immediatelly got inspired. Okay, the image is more about Kane and Glenn, my Pacificators-Fan-characters, but I really liked drawing it.
First, the theme/title. "You dropped something." Kane is quite the womanizer so I guess he likes the view. Glenn, Pacificator of Lightning, on the other hand...
Second, the perspective. I suck at perspective, but told me that when I would be ready, I would be able to use perspective (whole young-grasshopper-sensei-setting). So, I actually just sat down and tried perspective. I know there are mistakes and the houses are kinda blocky, but remember: this is my first image with REAL perspective in it. However, the fashionista-store... is more or less an actual block.
Third, the place. I showed this image to my dad. "Hey, that's *streetname* and there's the *streetname* and you end up at *streetname* is you take that path. And obviously, that is the *big tower*.
I showed this image at work. The same thing happened. I showed it to another collegue: "Hey, there's that bridge I pucked over last year!"
So, surprisingly enough... people recognise this place. I wonder if you can recognise it too. Most people recognised it because of the tower and the fashionista-shop. Yes, that shop actually exists.
I wanted to use an actual photograph of this place, but I couldn't find any... at all! So, I drew this all from memory. Saturday I plan to go to that place and make a photo of that spot. You will see a lot of differences and errors then, but that's okay. It takes place in the future anyway.
This drawing is made for the contest at / [link] I could say 'go join', but I can't, because you people are all way better artists and thus it would minimize my chances XP. So don't join. Let me be the only contestant. So I can win *wicked grin*
Oh wait, did I type that in public again? Shoot, I gotta remember to STOP DOING THAT.
But seriously, go join. 's contests are always worth your while!!

This drawing is extra special because it takes place in the Netherlands and I used Dutch text. Muahahaha! I go for the details!
