Well, as you can see, my journal had an 'overhaul'. While I still appreciate that people gave me a subscription, the last donation-subscription ended in 2006 XP.

Anyway, my question to you all: I'm invited to participate in a Manga Exposition and I have to select artworks that can be displayed there (as well as being sold, but don't worry, never my originals!)

So, please dive into my gallery and tell me which artworks I'd be stupid not to include ^_^. Which images do you think has the highest possibilities of being sold (for a reasonable price, of course) or is the most representative of my skills?
Do note, since it's for sale, Fanart is a no-no ^_^'.

I have no idea how the exposition will go and if I'll actually manage to sale anything, but the fact I was invited is already enough for me ^_^.

So please, share your opinions; they are mostly appreciated!

Newsflash!

I hope to start book 5 this weekend; I'm so excited! I know I said I wanted to combine book 3 first, but I was kinda down and the thought of starting book 5 so cheered me up it's unbelievable!
And to start the story with a bang, I decided to create a whole new character! I already had a deaf character and a character who was temporary blind... but now I will finally have a truely blind character! Her name will be Helena, often called Lena. She has the powers of sound, which is connected to her eye-sight. Meaning, that if she gets cured, she will lose her powers. Sure, she is a minor character and she's only there to start the book and create a plot, but I'm really excited!
I wonder how she will look... feel free to throw in suggestions or even draw her like you see her! Her name means 'Light', so I think she will be really pretty

Freedom for YOU, that is ^_^. From the 7th of August till the 7th of September, I'll be off for vacation. I might get online, don't count on it though. I will arrive home earlier than the 7th as well, but trust me: lotsa things to catch up with when coming home!

So, for you:

How much messages do you think I will have when I shall return? How many uploaded images; how many comments; how many journals; how many notes? You may split it, you may guess it all combined.
Prize? No prize but the joy of knowing I shall return ^_^

When I get back, I will of course try to comment on all images. However, last year I had about 200 images so sadly I could not comment on all... Took me 3 weeks to see it all as well XP.

Some people might have noticed I hardly comment any more. I am looking at EVERYTHING people upload, but there are a few reasons why I might not comment:

- It's something you obviously traced, pretending it to be your own art. I can't believe some people do that and expect to get praised ¬¬. The least you could do, is giving credit!

- You make fanart for an anime/manga series by copying an official image. While it's awesome you can copy someone else's style, I rather see original work.

- You make edits of official work, claiming it to be yours, sometimes even submitting it as a print! This also includes avatars/icons you make from screenshots. What should I say then? 'Hey, you can crop a screenshot awesomely!'. Some people can make pretty avatars/icons, but it simply doesn't interest me.

- It's pervy. While I can handle all mature stuff (I'm 26, people), I am not going to comment on pervy stuff, no matter how pretty. Hentai is a big no-no to me too. If I don't comment on your work, it could be because of the high pervyness. Kissing boys (or girls, or mixed) without shirts don't bother me, as long as 'there is something to guess'. Luckily, most of my friends don't draw such pervy stuff.

- This one is the most common one: I have nothing to comment but 'cool', 'awesome' or 'retty'. Since you already heard that from me a zillion times... If I don't have something else to say than just that I stay silent. Remember, I AM seeing everything that gets uploaded (included all pervy stuff O.o) because I'm having you in my DA Watchlist. I still love your work though!
