I have a question for you: If you have ever faved an image I drew... then why did you fav it? What makes something fav-material to you? Are you looking for creativity, colour, medium... what is the 'spark' that makes you want to hit the fav button?
Just curious
Some images I work, like, 5 hours on, get 6 till 10 favs, while images I work days on sometimes get no fav at all XDWith me, the 'spark' is colour, pose, originality and representation. Fanart and Endless Rain are more or less 'required favs' XD, but I don't fav fast. No matter how good the artist, if there's no love put within the image, I feel nothing and I don't fav XD... I think... XD
Waaah! I confuse myself!

People have different tastes on different occasions! if it was christmas they would like to see something that blend in holiday rituals, or if its new years they expect something colorful, if they felt sad they find monotone colors to make them feel sorry for themselves (i.e. a hug they hug themselves).
So its a term of "i fav this because I think it has something of Value!"
as for hard work and fast work, be advise that it can be very hard to tell!, if the works look ccomplicated and works well, it will recieve alot of values and critics, if the work is hard to swallow, then it will receive less comments...

I look for certain things from certain artists. Each artist has their own good points in their art. I don't often give out faves, but when I do, it's because I either a) love the entire piece b) see that it's something new and interesting from the artist c) background and coloring are awesome d) if i ever get a kiriban e) gifts for me on da lol
