It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Okay, after some testing, I finally finished my new journal skin. It's all iconplz, so when my subscription ends, I will still be able to use it! Not that I have much to share for now... I listed my upcoming appearances and added a 'feature' for people who do commissions. No, I don't want anything in return, I just want to help other people.

On a more 'actual news' note, it seems I REALLY like the headshots I've been making recently. They're done so fast, it's insane. I've made a few for other people as well. I upload them all in my scraps, but when I gathered enough, I will post a collage of it. Do you have a character of mine you'd love to see in the headshot-collection? Feel free to suggest it! As long as it's my character anyway XD

Gifts for others are done randomly. If you ask me, it usually results in me not doing it. It's not that I hate being asked, it's just that I know myself. I'm terrible with requests.

And for those who doubt about it: I love gift art. Just so you know. I also love faves, llama's and really, I REALLY love comments. Really, I do. Comments are awesome. They made me feel like someone REALLY likes my art, because they took the time to comment. So, if you fav, please comment as well! I love comments! Did I already mention I love comments?

Well, mine took only an hour and that's mostly because of testing. There quite a lot of awesome dividers/decorative lines you can use :) It depends if you want cutesy happy, stylish or classy

Ik zal je toevoegen aan de commissions list (maar even geen updated journal melding uitzenden).

Het zijn geen icoontjes, maar meer DA avatars. het is dus : icon accountnaam: als je er over zweeft of op klikt, weet je hoe dat account heet en kun je het gebruiken. Je hebt er echt megaveel; meestal met plz in de accountnaam.
