Ah yes, this weekend if the Elf Fantasy Fair. I'm always worried I missed it - that I mixed up the dates or so. But, the Elf Fantasy Fair Twitter is getting more lively, the organisation has not asked me where the heck I was... so yeah, I'm pretty certain I did not miss it... I hope XD ANYWAY....

(Boulevard of Books and Arts)... and this year I was asked to host a Beginners Manga Workshop. It's aimed for the true beginners, people who never drew manga before. If this goes well, I can always see if I can give a ehm, is the term mediate?, course the following year. Or if people request it on the day itself. Plus, I can always look at art and give tips. So feel free to come and show your art as well!! And now, the most important part of the journal:
If you have a character of mine you'd love to see more off, this is the time! I need suggestions of what I can draw during the Elf Fantasy Fair. You can only name a character though. Not suggest a theme. Well, you CAN suggest it, but I'm quite picky about it. I mean, 'Tama eating Sushi' or 'Kimu as a willing genie'... those are things that will never happen, because they are not in-character. So, you can suggest a theme, but they have to fit the character.
And no, I will not draw fanart. I have to show of my skills and not how good I can copy someone else's work.
So, suggest away!!.... *crickets chirping* Never mind.... or perhaps...?

Also I don't see what fanart has to do with your skills? I mean fanart isn't really about copying someone else's work in my opinion. It's about interpretation and drawing it in your own style and what not?
I'm not such a big fan of fanart though hahaha unless it's fanart of my characters
