That's a tough question. I can see pros and cons of using each medium. I like digital medium the most because it's cleanest but I like your markers and watercoloring too.
I did this poll before, but then without images and most people voted digital then. I wonder what will happen this time? Personally, I like pencils the best, but it's so time consuming! Markers and Digital get time consuming too, though XP And watercolours... I still have to practise there XD
I'm not sure if i remembered that poll. But it'd be interesting to see what kind of the results.
I can see how you like pencils. Yes, time consuming and some of them break too easily. Then there's the color smudges. Hard to erase a mistake. :/ Digital seem to have gotten quite easier for me that I was able to finish each Comic Exchange page in a hour.
I don't have much trouble with breaking pencils. They only break if they have once fallen onto the ground. Then the 'pencil' inside the pencil is broken and thus the pencil breaks more often. I don't really have much trouble with colour smudges. I work from light to dark and pay good attention to my hands. As for erasing... it's even harder to erase with markers XD So, if my super erasers don't work, I use the computer XP
Digital is no longer faster for me XP I add too much details. Though my Pen-i comic goes faster. Usually I needed an hour for pencils, inking, then scanning, digitalising (also about an hour)... now I need about an hour for the entire comic! But Pen-i comics are not detailed at all
yes, that's the color inside of the pencils that had been giving me some trouble.
Oh yes, you do tend to add so much details in them. I don't have that kind of patience since I'm too used to doing everything quick. So that's 3 hours for you to do a Pen-i page?

I had worked with watercolors, really tricky.
